Commercial Case Study: Monash University Clayton Campus
In 2011 Monash University contracted Surrey Air to install 10 new air conditioning units at the Clayton campus in South East Melbourne.
Solution:
Eight Daikin ducted reverse cycle inverter systems were required for the student buildings (see photos below). In addition, two Daikin split wall reverse cycle inverter systems were installed in the Vice Chancellor’s newly refurbished home.
Surrey aligned the University’s heating and cooling requirements by installing and commissioning systems that could interface with and be monitored by Building Management computer systems.
Outcome:
The initiation of an ongoing six-monthly preventative maintenance program has ensured no breakdowns so the units continue to run smoothly day in and day out.
