Main Street, after-hours rescue for historic building
One hundred years is pretty good going for a building. However, commercial heating cannot be expected to last that long. So when the existing ducted heating units at 481 Main Street, Mordialloc needed urgent attention, Surrey was able to respond with special after-hour weekend service.
The pressure was high…
The historic building is occupied by Bayview Real Estate plus three other tenants – a dentist, a chiropractor, and a naturopath. With a week of steady bookings ahead and people’s teeth, backs, and well-being at stake, the pressure was high.
The vans arrived, and we guaranteed Neville Morley of Bayview Real Estate that the job would finish on time. With tools ready the guys set to work.
There were no taking chances though!

Surrey Air needed to shut down all power to safely perform a complete re-installation with zero disruption to business trading.

All tenants arrived Monday morning to the new Brivis heating and Daikin commercial heating units installed by the dedicated Surrey Air technicians. With Melbourne experiencing a record-breaking cold spell this winter, the tenants were all glad to say to their customers that they could come out of the cold and relax, ‘because the heat is on!’
